- In 2006, while working as a Research Scientist, I authored and was awarded an SBIR Phase I grant as the Principle Investigator. The project was funded for a total of $129,527 for one year. The collaborator on the project was Oliver Smithies, PhD (Nobel Prize winner-Physiology or Medicine 2007).
- In 2006, I co-authored and served as a Principle Investigator on a Research Contract awarded by the National Cancer Institute. The contract was funded for a total of $250,000. A summary and results of this contract are open to the public on the National Cancer Institutes website.
- In 2003, I was awarded a Postdoctoral Fellowship by the Hereditary Disease Foundation for a total of $53,000. As the exclusive originator and author of the proposed project this serves as an excellent scientific writing example.
